Egg Colouration

Hi Guys,

In my other thread "Axie and her eggs" I have a photo of the eggs and they are quite white.

However I have noticed the last 2 days that they have gone considerably darker. However they still look healthy.

My last eggs were all half white/half black. Now these ones are nearly full black.

I am guessing axie eggs can be of different colouring all the time, and that the stronger gene of the two axies decides the colouring?

I don't know much about this topic... so any info would help!

What colour are the parents?
Usually in normal pigmented (non-albinos) axolotls, the eggs will be dark on the top side, and lighter on the bottom, at least until the eggs have been allowed to develop.
