Exactly when should I start offering my efts water to get them to morph again. The largest is currently 3-4 inches and the smallest an inch or an inch and a half. Its my first time raising efts and I have no clue how I should introduce them to water and when to do it.

They sound like older efts based on size, but from your pictures they still have very eft-like coloring. I don't think there's a reliable way to tell when they're ready to enter the water.

I just got tired of feeding them on land after 2 years or so and moved them into a terrarium with a large water section: about 6 inches deep, taking up half of the space, but with lots of space to get out. Eventually I caught the efts swimming in the water at night. Once I was confident they could swim well and eat in the water, I moved them to a fully aquatic set-up. I think you just have to be patient and try to offer them the opportunity to really swim every few months or so.

Thanks. I have no rush to make them aquatic. I just need to know when exactly I should start offering them options between aquatic and terrestrial. They have a gravel filled bowl in there right now with less than an inch of water. So far two of them frequently hang out in there for brief periods of time, but never more than five to ten minutes.

I have taken adults that were still living on land and placed them semi aquatic tanks and had them develop flattened swimming tails but never forced a bright red eft to change. I've been told it can be done though. Place them in a tank with about a inch of water with plenty of java moss and cork for them to climb on. You will probably still have to take them out to feed them in a separate container until they morph over. I would only try it with large individuals. I'm just guessing that it will be easier on them the older and fully grown animals.
