Earthworm dissection

If you have small sals/newts and feed them cut up earthworms. I read in an the article about cutting worms at caudata.org that if you don't cut the first 1 1/2 inches or so then the earthworm will live. Just to let you know, as long as you don't cut past the first ten segments the earthworm will live.

It depends on the type of worm, Iced. They can live as long as the reproductive area is intact. The number of segments in front of the reproductive organs varies from one kind of worm to another.
