Dwarf Life expectancy

I just read on another post that the life expectancy for a dwarf axie is a year.

Is this true?? I'm absolutely heartbroken as I've just found out my axie is a dwarf and is about 6 months old. He's huge but has the "neck going directly into the body" telltale sign of dwarfism. Please tell me he/she will be just as old as all the other axies out there!!!

I've seen dwarfs a lot older than one year old. I think it's life expectancy is probably more varied than your regular axie as there can be more complications but I wouldn't dwell on it. I know some dwarfs that are 5 years old!

Ok, thanks!! It's not severe dwarfism. He's still very long but you can tell by his neck. I hope he/she lives a long time!
