Does anyone ever feel bad for their newts?

hi! i appreciate everyone's help with my last post. thanks! do ya'll ever feel bad for your newts though? i mean, i have a nice setup for chiquita, but he still at night is trying to climb out. i think he wishes that he were free. is there any way to make his life better? i wish i had more money to spend on things-i saw a really neat waterfall that had about a 12 inch stream attached at a pet store. they didn't remember where they had gotten it. anyone know where to get one? sorry this is long, i was just wanting to know if anyone else ever felt bad for their newts and what you do for them if you do.
 
i would think that if he's trying to climb out, he's trying to get away from something bad. maybe you dont have him in the right setup?
 
mabe ur newt is lonely is there other types like him in is tank an my newts long ago use to do the same thing it may be a space issue or there is nothing to keep ur newt occupied like live food to hunt or other things to climp like rocks wood and plants

    Dear All, I would appreciate some help identifying P. waltl disease and treatment. We received newts from Europe early November and a few maybe 3/70 had what it looked like lesions under the legs- at that time we thought maybe it was the stress of travel- now we think they probably had "red leg syndrome" (see picture). However a few weeks later other newts started to develop skin lesions (picture enclosed). The sender recommended to use sulfamerazine and we have treated them 2x and we are not sure they are all recovering. Does anyone have any experience with P. waltl diseases and could give some input on this? Any input would be greatly appreciated! Thank you.
