Sorry if I get annoying, but I am like a hypochondriac or something because I'm worried there is something wrong with the eggs! I want to be the best mommy I can to these things.
I know by reading what to look for, but really I do not know what it actually looks like. any opinions would be wonderful! please and thank you :)

From what I can see they look great! In a few days you'll see more development. If any turn fuzzy/foggy white remove those.

So they look okay? I was worried because they look like they have stringy stuff forming around the eggs. I guess it is hard to see, transparent almost, I thought maybe it was the start of mold :p I guess I'm just panicking. I see differences in the eggs almost daily now, I love looking at them it is so cool :) I litterally sit beside the containers and watch my axies and the eggs for like an hour :p*isnt crazy I swear*

Would the mold appear almost instataneous(like overnight) if it were to happen, or would it happen in a matter of a couple of days?

Yeah mate they look perfect and like Axolotl4life says you should see them begin to form into an axolotlish shape soon, then they'll start to wriggle and before you know it they'll hatch. If this is your first batch of eggs then this forum will be your best friend in the next few weeks. The help and advice I got with my first batch since I signed up has been invaluable. Thanks to these guys my first batch hatched and are thriving. Everybody starts as a beginner so post as many questions as you need to and plenty of guys on here will be happy to help ya. Oh and by the way, you'll start to notice the eggs going a cloudy white, when you do isolate them from the rest, after a couple of days, if the eggs are still cloudy they'll be dead, if not they can rejoin the rest. The cloudiness is pretty obvious so you won't have trouble identifying it. Good luck to ya!

Okay thank you so much! I was scared It would be hard to tell so I have been just like staring at them constantly trying to pinpoint problems >.< so have no life! Well this isnt a whole batch, the breeder who I bought my juvies from sent approx 35eggs or so as well from a new batch(laid last monday) I'm actually pretty excited and so are a couple of people I already told about "possibly" having some to give good homes(as I could not find ANYONE around here that sold/bred axies, so I had to get them shipped, which isnt ideal for a lot of people/a lot of peoples wallets) I wanted one so bad I didn't care about the price, they were so worth it <3 though if I didn't have to pay shipping it would of been even better! they are absolutly beautiful and perfect, and my little piggies <3

I still stare at mine 8 months on. Could never get bored of em.You got names for em yet or waiting till you know the gender?

Of my juvies? or the eggs? lmao
I tried to pick pretty gender neutral names, Echo is my leucistic and Texas is my wild type :)
Yes but you know, eggs don't do much! lmao! but if you shine a light at the eggs you can see its turning into more then just a ball, its so exciting seeing it change.

Yeah meant the Juveniles LoL. Good idea. I tried to guess mine early on and ended up calling what turned out to be a male Medusa and Timmy who I thought was a male laid a big batch of eggs 4 days ago :D

Oh no! You must be the person who posted "timmy laid eggs!" Lmao
I hope they arent male/female just so I dont need to worry about a whole batch of eggs, I dont know what I will do with 35 yet if they all hatch/thrive :S. I'm sure in the end it wont be so bad, I'm not telling many people I have them until I know they are going to survive. But im so excited to play mommy with them! :)

Hello!!!

I just hatched my first batch of eggs as well!!!
I'm enjoying every day, watching them get bigger.
Do you know what percentage usually survives/thrives??

~Thanks!!!

I was told about a 85% survival rate. I had 36 eggs, and I have 35 that are all developing nice and moving around in the eggs now(Day 9)! the other one I found hiding in the container actually only yesterday, dont know how I ever missed it! It was the mystery egg number 36! lmao anyways it had not developed at all so I guess it was not fertile from the start, the egg was beginning to cloud up so I just removed it.
