Well I found tons of eggs in my tank today! I had taken their light off to use on another tank and hadn't really messed with them for a few days. The eggs seem to be at about day 4 or 5 comparing them to axolotl.org pictures. I removed them all from plants and put them in a few plastic containers, and put those containers in a closet. If I don't put a light in there will it have any adverse affect on them? Also, I didn't place a bubbler in the water and just planned on stirring the water a few times a day, is that OK?

Thanks for any advice!

They don't need a light but would benefit from some added aeration (more than just stirring with your hand).

Regards Neil

I agree about the lighting. I never use aeration on the eggs, just spread them out in a shallow (~1 inch deep) tub of water and they do fine.
