I've only had my axolotls for a couple days and I've been pretty worried about how they are adjusting to their new home.. I noticed spots on the one and I'm not sure if the spots were there when I bought or if they have shown up since he was welcomed to his tank... Can anyone help me out here? Are these spots on his tail natural coloring, ich, or another disease? My instincts (worrisome as they may be) tell me to get marine salt and now that I've noticed the spots, I'm keeping on close eye on this specific ax. He doesn't seem to be showing any other typical signs of stress. Gills are curled forward but I believe no more than is natural, he has been eating, and tail hasn't been curling. He's just been hanging out as these beautiful creatures do. Any help is much appreciated

It looks like a natural color spot... the spot is flat or has any kind of volume? If it is flat, you can relax, its just a beautiful white spot!

It is flat and there doesn't appear to be any change in texture.. This is great news! Thanks for the replies
