Yesterday I bought 3 guppies, I very pretty blue male and 2 very pregnant females. Last nite I checked them before bed and all three were doing fine. Well this morning the male was completely gone, I checked the tank and the floor and every where in between but no guppy. So my three year asks me "mommy wheres fish" I had to tell her it ran away. lol. I have never lost a fish by it jumping out of the tank and I really don't think the females ate him.

You'd be surprised at how fast fish will eat one that dies.
If its not on the floor nearby or stuck in the filter, then its very likely they did eat him.

Probably died from shock in the change of water, or was diseased. If it's dead, it will be eaten. Make sure you acclimate fish to water and watch the tanks for ones that look healthy before you buy, and always quarantine.
