Hi, unexpected, but i will be moving and im just getting my new tank up and going, (which my axie is in). The current water readings are:

PH: 7.6
AMMONIA: 0.25/0.50pmm
NITRITE: 0ppm
NITRATE: 0ppm

I know the ammonia is a little high at the moment , but its better than the last tank he was in!

Does anyone know where i can get any big storage containers and what type i can use to transfer water? or am i better keeping him in a small tank until i get the new tank cycled?

Thanks!

The bacteria that cycle your tank aren't in the water; they're on the surfaces in the tank. There's no point in transporting any more than a bucket-full of water. And even if you DID take all the water, it would be prohibitively heavy to move.

Just keep him in a small tank with frequent water changes until the big tank cycles.
