Deformed front foot

I just noticed today that one of my newts has a deformed front foot. IT looks like it has 3 large digits instead of 5. I will try to get a picture later. Was thinking it could lost a digit or 2 and it healed weird. Anyone else encounter this??

Is he having trouble swimming/walking? Do you see any signs of infection, or is it fully healed? I'm sure if it doesn't cause anything bad now, the future won't hold any problems relating to the foot, if cared for carefully.

The newt is fine seems healthy.The foot is not white or swollen just seems to be deformed. It doesn't appear to effect the newt swimming and he can still hangout with his head above the water. Was just wondering if anyone else encountered this before.
