On saturday the 6th of september my golden albino axi laid eggs. shes laid some before now but had a different male in the tank. They are white like last time but there is no change in appearence. they are still white circles, not the squashed oval shape they should be by day four. Does this mean they are infertile? Her last batch of eggs all hatched. some of these ones have collasped and disintegrated. Its the start of spring and is still a bit cold, her last ones were laid in december. Would the temperature matter? there is oxygen going through the water, not strong so that its pushing them round, but a steady stream at one end of the tank. the water temperature is about 12 degrees. please help!

I would give them a bit longer as the water is relatively cool. At lower temperatures the eggs develop slightly slower.

ok i had a look just now and about two of them are starting to go in to the squished oval shape :) thanks alot :)
