I Have A 72 gallon Tank Housing 8 cynops orientallis.

i was just wondering is there any freshwater shrimp that i can add to clean up the leftovers
that will not affect the newts stress levels or cause them any harm?

i look forward to any replys

Freshwater shimp are generally harmless to newts. However, the newts may eat them, and some shrimp need higher temperatures than what newts ideally need.

Bear in mind that a scavenger (snail, shrimp, whatever) just converts one form of waste into another, they don't really make it disappear. Removal of uneaten food should still be your responsibility. The scavenger won't reduce your work any.
