I need help, i bought two fire bellied newts two weeks ago and they died but before i bought them i did a lot of research online then the people at the pet store told me some completely different stuff i dont know what exactly i did wrong especially since they're "so easy to take care of"

Could you be more precise? You don't tell us how you kept your newts, what you fed them, what you found in the internet (not all is quality information) and what the pet store people told you to do. Moreover, how did the newts died? (did they show any symptoms, did they eat, etc).

Without knowing all this, how can anyone help you?

You know, there are no "easy to take care of" pets; some are just more tolerant of harsh captive conditions.

never listen to the people in petshops. Fire bellied newts in petshops are wild caught so they are weak. If you really want to get into newts, become a member of the site, you will learn a lot here, as i have done. There are many people on the site that keep fire bellied newts they will give you lots of advise on how to keep them. read Caudata Culture as well the FAQ's are brilliant for beginners.
