Hello, I have a pair of cynops orientalis and days ago the female put eggs. Some days after, there are some larvae developed in the eggs. Four of this larvae have hatched yesterday.

Could somebody comment the cares they need, please? At the moment I have given them artemia and I make a daily water change with water without chlorine.

Thanks

Thanks for your answer Ralf. I have read all the links. If someone can tell me his own experience with larvae's care I will be very grateful. Thanks

I've found them to be easy to keep.

They don't seem to mind aged water so long it doesn't get dirty. I fed mine microworms and then graduated them to blackworms and have began offering daphnia(I bet they could be raised from the start on this though). Make sure the larvae are eating before offering food(yolk sac gone and larvae propped upright). Artemia are a good food but only live in FW for a few hours so overfeeding is very easy. Might want to make the water shallow and store the nauplii in the fridge for a few hours to make less work for the larvae.
