hi all,
ok here's the deal the stand is set up, the tank has been cleaned and put in place, filter set up and in place, what to do next???????

im changing from a 60L to 200L (gulp) and looking for a little advice on how to get it cycled.
i figure i can use the sand and tank decorations from the old tank to help the process and im wondering how long it would take?

the other thing im a little worried about is the filter, its a fluval 305. im worried about water flow. ive seen the filter running on half flow and it still seems a little fast to me, so was wondering if anyone else is using the same???

cheers for any help

If you haven't yet, have a read through this article on Cycling. It gives you a step by step guide on what to do.

Using the decorations from the old tank will definitely speed up the cycling process but by how much I couldn't say.
