Hi.
I know that axolotls live in Fresh water
One of the cycling options I have been reading about, is to borrow a used filter or ornament from a healthy established tank, and put it in your new tank to cycle the water.
My question: could I use ornaments from a salt water tank to start my biology? I know so many people with healthy established SW tanks that are eager to help, but no one with a FW tank
I'm just not sure if the same type of organisms are beneficial for both water types?
Thanks
