Cycling bacteria

I wouldn't bother with any product that claims to reduce the need for water changes or bypass the cycling process or magically make your tank all sparkly or whatever. Most of them don't work properly and fool you into thinking your tank is fine when it's not - stick with good old fashioned cycling.

I had some and used it when I set up several new tanks up. From my experience, the cycling took about the same as it did without the bacteria when I cycled my axolotl's first tank, and it's quite expensive for a small, if any, decrease in cycling time.

I did a ton of research and I wanted to cycle naturally but due to a series of events I needed to have their tank ready in a hurry the most recommended one I found was fluval (also found at petco) I added my 5 baby axolotls the day after setting up my tank using this stuff and they're thriving!
