So this morning I just realized that my HOB filter isn't turned on overnight because of power failure, my HOB is the kind that can't fill the water itself if its turned off and turned on again, I usually have to help it by filling it water from my aquarium. Its filled with ceramic ring/bio ring for bacteria and I think it has been dry overnight. I panicked and quickly fill it water and try to check the water quality, I can't do full test because I'm in hurry to go so I only check ammonia, it apparently showing 0,25 ppm. Is it safe for axolotl? Do I need to do water change and cycle my tank again? I can't go home today so I can only do the full test tomorrow when I get home

unless they are cooked dry you wont have lost all your bacterial filtration so a re-cycle shouldn't be necessary, that being said it might be a good idea to get some bottled bacteria to top-up and in cases of emergency.
it might be a good idea to either find a way to stop the hob from draining when off (a one way valve on the inlet should work), or get a hob where the motor unit is in the tank.
at 0.25 ppm the ammonia should be harmless unless your ph and temperatures are high.
do a water change as you normally would on a water change day as additional water changes could harm the bacterial filtration further.

Lol I'm totally forgot about this thread, but thanks wolfen, all clear my parameter is all fine and my little guy is still thriving and still likes to eat a lot 😁
