Question: Cut on his tail . . .?

My axolotl has a small slice through a part of the thin area of his tail, I assume from his hiding spot somehow.
Should I be worried about this or will it heal in time ?
I've just seen a lot of people with Lotties who have fungal problems.

Most of those wounds heal pretty well. As long as the water is clean everything will be okay. Just keep an eye on it just in case fungus will grow around it or something. (If there is fungus (white cotton wool like stuff) you can do a salt bath. http://www.caudata.org/forum/f46-be...axolotl/72698-salt-bath-picture-tutorial.html But you'll probably won't need it )
My axie had a big wound on his leg (once) and I didn't really do a thing about it. Just kept the water clean and everything is back to normal now.

I would also check the hide for sharp edges. Maybe you can make them smoother somehow.
