It's a lot easier to ship eggs than it is to ship juveniles. Eggs can be shipped in wet paper towel in a ziploc bag.

Axolotl eggs are easily shippable in a CD case.

Take it from me, shipping bigger axolotls is a pain! It's lots of work, bagging, watering, checking for leaks, etc.

I would post eggs....but wouldn't even consider posting my juveniles. For re-homing in my case its buyer collects, that way they may get a clearer idea on what needs doing regarding their care etc.
My axolotl eggs went in small plastic bottles with tank water, I may have done a batch between paper towling and jiffy bags.

Well, to put it this way, I just shipped off 3 adult axies, overnighted to Illinois from Michigan (not terribly far, 2 states over), and it cost me nearly $50. To overnight an envelope of eggs costs about $5.

Do you actually need to ship them. I'm raising just over 50 and I've approached a few local pet stores and they will take them off my hands once they are big enough and I get to recoup my costs of raising them.:D

thkz so much. he is scared to ship the eggs because he doesnt want anyone to end up with dead eggs. thnks agian
