So how are people's crochet skills?
Going to try and convince my girfriend to do one for me

Not that good.

I can make blankets or scarves. Anything that is in a vaguely square if rectangular shape. I knit better, but that is still limited to scarves, blankets, and hats.

Thankfully knitting and crocheting skills are no longer an assessment of womanhood. Because I have none.

At least you can do something.

I can't hardly cook or sow, however I am good at fixing computers, microwaves, washers, lighting systems >_> I would suck as a "woman" in the olden days.
 
Now that's cool! I will have to try to make it once I have some free time! :)
