I'm sure everyone is sick of the term "natural-looking" but I had an idea that I'd really like to try.
I have a PVC tee in my tank that my axxie loves, so I was thinking about (when I transition him into a bigger tank) having multiple PVC tees and bends with plant rooted to them. The obvious problem is how would I get the plant to root to it?
I was thinking getting some java moss and having it over lap on both sides and tying it so it would maybe root together? I was also thinking about picking up some drift wood and boiling it so that I might be able to ply it around some of the PVC.
Do you guys have any ideas?

I'm not too sure how well plying driftwood will be... I've boiled drift wood for a looong time hoping to get all the tanins out - I just ended up with frail driftwood that leeched tanins anways :p

On my local fish forum, someone recently posted about using crazy glue to keep plants in certain places for them to grow. I've personally never tried it though.

What I did was drilled holes in the pvc and attached a mesh filled with moss and I've also attached some java fern, the problem is some dirt gets inside the mesh

I go silicone valley on the PVC haha
take PVC pipe
smear on Aquarium grade silicone
roll in sand of your choice...
voila!!! more natural PVC
