Question: Could these be EGGS of some sort???

I have pinpoint clear bubbles inside gelatineous masses on the side od my tank glass. There is one mass where the pin points are larger and white. Are these eggs, spermatofore, something else?

I can't take a picture since they are so small and my old-ish digicamera will not focus on them. How big are Paramesotriton eggs? Could this be something else?

I looked a little at pictures but they seem to lack anything to gage the size of eggs.

Thank you. I understand this is most likely nothing at all...but I had to ask.

Agreed on the snail eggs hypothesis. Do they look anything like these snail eggs at different stages of development?

I have to agree, the first thing that came to mind from your description is definitely snail eggs.

Yep...they are just freakin snail eggs!!!


I just want so badly to have some little "newtlets" runnning around.

I am not even sure my paramesotriton are the same...hongkong, chinese, guanesis...they are probably different.

At least I think they are male and female....one has a bigger cloaca.
