Hey guys, just thought I'd share an idea I've done with cooling my tank (I'm sure its probably done already but, hey ho
)
I have put treated icecubes in food bags and tied a knot at the top. This way, if the bag happens to leak, the water is treated and won't harm my axie.
I have noticed that some people have a tank like me which has the glass bits on the top. So I then pegged the plastic bags to the glass bits so they didn't sink or float away. (The pegs are completely plastic, so no harm of metal, and they are very big so there is no alarm for swallowing!) However, the bag does float on it's own with four icecubes in, but I didn't want to risk sinkage.
I found it cools the tank at a nice controllable pace.
Sorry if this idea has already been done, I was just proud of it :lol: but if I am doing something wrong let me know!
