I haven't noticed any poop for a while from my axolotl and his cloaca seem to be swollen but I can't get a good picture. I feed him some salmon 3 days ago and tired to feed some more just now but he didn't want it. Should I fridge him or just wait? He's active but when he's still his legs hang back like pictured.

what are your water parameters ie.. ph, gh, kh, ammonia, nitrites, nitrates.
if your kh and gh are good/high (see Water Quality Explained: How It Can Affect Your Axolotl's Health - WSAVA 2015 Congress - VIN for ideal, 1° = 17.9) add 2g/l non iodised salt and 0.1g/l magnesium sulphate, if the kh gh are bad/low use 50% holtfreters and 0.1g/l magnesium sulphate.
ensure sand is turn over regularly to reduce trapped gas/debris.
due to risks involved with fridging should only be used as last resort.
ensure tank temperature is 15°c/59°f - 18°c/64°f, 15°c/59°f being better.

Hi,
To complete what wolfen wrote :
A swollen cloaca could be a typical male cloaca.
As for the poo, it depends on the food : highly digestible food (like salmon) ends up with poo which desagregate very fast and can not be noticeable.
Try a canadian nightcrawler : the poo should be a bit of dark earth, easy to see on your white fine sand.
Nice copper
