I have a hong kong that's about 6-8 in long and i was just wondering if it would be ok to put a small turtle, about 2 in, in the aquarium with it. would either one act aggressive toward the other?
No, they cannot be kept together. The turtle needs water temperatures that are between 75 and 80 F with a basking site that runs close to 90 F and the newt needs temps between 65 and 70 F. In addition, most small turtles will at least taste test anything in the enclosure to see if they can eat it.
