Question: Colour changing?

Can axolotls change colour? Olive seems to go through stages or is it the light/or me

Nice Axie, I think its just light differences

My Wildtype half gill looks greenish in bright light whilst in dimmer light he appears black, likewise the bronzy I have similar to yours has a dirty ocher colour in darker light but appears almost gold in bright light.
