Colored Sands?

I have decided on sand as my substrate, was thinking colored sand would look really nice in the tank. I have seen posts both positive and negative on the Tahitian moon sand, but enough to make me think twice. I was curious about using colored play sand like what's used for sand art. Does anyone know if that is acceptable to use, or of a specific brand that is?

I use play sand. I dont know much about the coloured stuff sorry but others on here have used the tahitain sand with out issues. Please wait for them to reply to you tho in case I have it wrong.
