Colored Caulk?

I loved the examples of homemade hidey houses on this forum so I am making some using rocks and plastic bins and wondered if anyone has used the colored caulk. I found some brown that is the window kind without the anti mildew stuff.

So has anyone used colored caulk? Does anyone know if the colorant they use is toxic?

Most will state if it is aquarium safe -

You can google...
"Insert Brand & Type" + Safety Data Sheet

That will give you the exact contents & any contraindications. If something is food safe it should also be aquarium safe.
