Hey all. I don't know if anyone remembers me from a few days ago, but I've moved forward with my idea. Transferred my axolotl to a twenty gallon and have been maintaining the cycle since I felt the ten gallon was just too small. I'm still waiting on the LED lighting I need for the display, but take a look at what I've done so far!
One thing that I should note is that wiring all three fans to one power source was a horrible idea. The source overheated in close to an hour and I'm pretty sure busted the fans and the source. Luckily I have a ton of old computer parts in the basement and I was able to remove two of the exact same type of fan. I hooked them up to two separate 12v sources and though they're running slower (I believe the other source was a quite a bit stronger), I don't believe I have to fear them overheating. So for now I have only two fans, one blowing in and one blowing out. Perhaps I'll grab a third and/or fourth but for now I want to wait and see how the two do. Let me know what you guys think and/or any advice you want to throw my way. Thanks.
