Cloudy eye (question for Tim)

I'm not Tim, but maybe I can help a bit. Is only one animal affected? And is is only one eye, or are both eyes slightly cloudy? If it's only one eye of one animal and it happened suddenly, infection seems likely. If other eyes are also cloudy (even slightly), I'd suspect diet. I saw this problem in some of my animals that ate too many waxworms.

Thanks for the advice Jen. It is only one eye (one animal only). The other animals seem fine. The individual with the cloudy eye aslo seems fine otherwise, eating well and remaining active. I have removed it to a separate container just to be on the safe side however. I vary the diet of all of the animals as much as possible so I would not think that it would be related to diet. Last night I was reading "Popular Amphibians" by Phillipe DeVosjoli and he mentions that cloudy eyes are usually caused by poor water quality or infection. I have not actually tested the water as I have decent filtration, lots of live plants, and I do 50% partials once a week. Also since the other animals seem fine I am inclined to believe that it may be an infection. The eye is also looking better now than it did a few days back so I am going to hold off on antibiotics for the time being and just monitor the animal. Again, any advice is always appreciated. Sorry for asking the wrong Tim as well.
