I've been noticing clear, slimey things on my axolotls' aquarium glass lately.
At first I thougt my young male perhaps turned out to be a female (still guessing) and put some egg-like slime on the glass and the plants and decorations, but even though I've cleaned them off they come back. Seems like they're small at first, then they grow bigger.

I change 25-30% of the water weekly and I've got 2 axolotls in there, although one of them moved in after this started to happend.

I guess this is some kind of algae, and how do I get it to disappear?

Don't have any snails, haha. But it's all gone now!

Aaaand now they're back.. What could they be?

how big are they? could you post a photo? it's amazing what stuff turns up in tanks! I've been getting the odd one or two tiny white blobs on my glass every couple of days. I assume they're some kind of baby snail because when I smush them they make a tiny crunching noise! But I've never had snails in there! :S

Can they just..turn up like that? Haha, I'll post a photo when I get home. :) They're in different sizes, very small but also up to about 4 mm.

This is about as big as they get!

Look what I found this morning, Haha!

Still don't think it's snail eggs tho, cause they're kind of bigger than the snail.
