Hey everyone! I had real plants in my baby's tank but with the light been dim and him ripping them up, I decided to get fake ones for the tank. I'm just wondering how I should clean them before I put them in there. I'd like to not use chemicals if possible. My friend told me hot water would be fine. Suggestions?

If you want to do live plants, java fern, java moss, marimo moss balls, anubias and duck weed are great. They are low light plants and most can be anchored to rocks and wood with thread instead of planted. Ducked floats so it will also provide shade.

As for fake plants, I've only ever rinsed them in water when I first get them.
