Cleaning axolotl larvae

Sorry for the weird title. I've seen several ways of doing 100% water changes.
What is the most effective method to get your tiny larvae out of the old water into the container with clean water? Do you use a spoon to scoop them out?
A net? Or is there a much easier way?
I'm still looking for the perfect method: easy - quick - safe for the larvae

I've always scooped mine out with a fine net and quickly replaced them in same temp clean water. Never had any issues with this.

I use a coarse net and move them to a fresh tub. They are little buggers to catch though!

You can also get away with 80% changes in an unfiltered tub if you have large enough tubs with only a few babies and make sure you remove all the dead BBS. Just remove as much water as you can and replace it - I run the water donw the side of the tub to prevent too much water disturbance.

My larger babies (now 2" with their back legs formed) are now in a tank, the smaller ones are in a tub with alternating clean tub and 80% changes.

I used a measuring spoon with mine, as they got bigger, i used a bigger spoon haha, just try not to move a lot of water with them, just enough so theyre covered
