I got some natural clay like for pottery and I'm wondering if I could make a hide for my tiger sal with it? Would it be toxic or would it be better to put a glaze on it?

If you have access to a ceramics kiln to fire it properly, it will be fine. The chemical structure changes so it won't dissolve. Glaze optional. Do not use air-dry or oven-baked clay types. I made clay basking rocks in the past and they worked great; I used a watered down satin glaze to give the lizard's feet some purchase.
