Christmas miracle!!!

Merry Christmas and happy Kwanza! Tonight I arrived home to find that I have hundreds to thousands of snails in my prey tank!! What a joyful happy suprise! I guess christmas day will not be without its share of murder in the name of science.

What is a prey tank? Is this where you keep feeder fish, etc...?? If so try keeping a couple loaches in there, mine love snails.....of course fingers work well too....

Well as it turns out, after closer inspection they appear to be daphnia. My bad. SO I guess it is a christmas miracle after all, sort of. I mean I need daphnia much more then snails.

Erik, my prey tank consists of mayfly, daphnia, snails and blackworms, I have it set up to start mainly daphnia cultures and prepare for new axies.
