I spent a week in northern Spain and found these beauties... Chioglossa lusitanica, looks somewhat like an American Plethodon.

Nice, we don't see this species much. May I use your photos on Caudata Culture?

Looks very similar to Mertensiella caucasica!

Hi Jennifer, go ahead. Hi Paul, this species is indeed closely related to Mertensiella caucasica. Morphologically and ecologically both species are remarkably similar.
