In a little ten gallon, would I be able to fit a second chinese firebelly in it? (I originally set up the tank to house a paddletail, which the person I got it from didn't know, somehow. So my tank is set up to only be half-full, as for the person I got it from, I decided what the heck, because the newt is in really good shape, active, and staying in water)

Do you have a paddletail in the tank now? Or a CFB?

CFB, I know paddletails plus anything, including its own kind is a big no-no, I heard they are extremely aggressive, but I never see anything about if CFB are communal, I see once in awhile about maybe up to five JFB in a ten gallon, but they aren't really the same newts

You could certainly have more than one CFB in the tank, but there are a couple of reasons you might want to think twice about it. First, all pet shop CFB are wild-caught, so you'd be contributing to that whole sadness. Second, you'd have to quarantine the newcomer, so you'd need another tank of some kind for a month when you get the new one(s).
