I have a juvenile chinese fire belly newt in a 5.5 gallon tank with floating live plants a cave and a small turtle bank for its land area. where i bought it they housed them with fire belly toads and the water conditions were bad so when i first got it it was stressed and wouldnt go in the water, now that it has calmed down and started staying in the water full time ive not been able to get it to eat. ive tried waxworms and frozen/thawed bloodworms and newt pellets. i dont know what to do please help.
