Chinese Fire Bellied Newts Just Bored??

I bought 4 Chinese fire bellied newts from a LPS yesturday for my empty 29 gallon which has been cycling for a long time now lol it doesnt have a heater but it has a filter with low current. I decided to try my hand at a terrarium. the thing is its winter now so I cant get many cool decorations, so they float on ice cream container covers and have a few live plants, and some floating plastic ones too, but they dont seem to do much lol they just fall asleep and lay there, is this normal?? also they wont eat, I tried a block of tubi-felx worms, they just dont seem interested, so is this all normal for these Chinese Fire Bellied Newts?? Hope so lol, if not what can I do to fix it??
 
well, you just got them yesterday. they're probably adjusting to the new home. give 'em a few days. and besides, have you ever heard of interior decorating for newts? they could care less if its an ice cream container or a designer floating island, as long as its there.

    Dear All, I would appreciate some help identifying P. waltl disease and treatment. We received newts from Europe early November and a few maybe 3/70 had what it looked like lesions under the legs- at that time we thought maybe it was the stress of travel- now we think they probably had "red leg syndrome" (see picture). However a few weeks later other newts started to develop skin lesions (picture enclosed). The sender recommended to use sulfamerazine and we have treated them 2x and we are not sure they are all recovering. Does anyone have any experience with P. waltl diseases and could give some input on this? Any input would be greatly appreciated! Thank you.
