It's summer where I live and even in the coolest area of my home I am finding it difficult to keep my Axie tank at the ideal temperature, I've tried ice bottles but to keep switching them without the temperature rising means I need to swap them every hour which will be hard when holidays end in 4 weeks and I'm out of the most of the day. Any ideas on how to keep the tank cool, thanks
(I've looked into buying aquarium chillers but I can find any that look reliable, any recommendations???)

You can replace 25% of the water and refill with freezing water, the filter will eventually mix the water. This can take a while though, so I would recommend just buying a chiller.

I've heard a lot of things. You could make your own chiller, there are lots of tutorials online that will explain how to do so. You could also wrap your aquarium in insulation, and put ice in every day. If it gets really bad, you could put your axolotls in the fridge; but I suggest trying some more options before doing so. Get an aquarium fan, or wrap wet towels around the tank and have a fan blowing cool air on them. I wouldn't suggest putting ice in an aquarium less than 15 gallons without first having insulation, as the temperature fluctuations will be stressful for the axolotl.
