Chemicals suitable for use

Hello all, I don't need anything right now to use but I'm struggling to find a comprehensive list of chemicals that are suitable, I did find one at some point and I've lost it again now useless! I plan to get a few things in stock ready in case I do ever need them because I'm absolutely useless with money, also I'd like to know what people recommend to dechlorinate water, I plan to use spring water as much as possible but currently I'm using tapsafe because it's all my local shop has in stock. Thanks guys!


And anyone whom may have commented on any of my previous threads; Ruto is happy and active and her gills aren't curved so much now. Things are looking up

I've always just used regular dechlorinator and I know fertilizer for plants is a big no no. Other than that I am not much help.

There is a good list of suitable and not suitable remedies on Axolotl.org. But in all honesty the only things you should need are Indian almond leaves or cattappa extract, salt, tea bags, melafix/pimafix - all of which are natural remedies. Worst case scenario you might need methylene blue or Furan-2.
pH can be adjusted with crushed coral or almond leaves if needed.
You really shouldn't need any chemicals as such other than dechlorinator. I use plain sodium thiosulfate.
