Hi Paul,

Thanks for the update.

They are cute little devils.

It's great to see your tank within a tank is working so well.

So cute, its been so long since i bred and raised babies. What colours have you got? I can see wildtype and white albino??....

I like the idea of having a tank within a tank. Saves on space.

Claire.

Thanks "special one" & Claire for the positive comments. Yes the tank within a tank solution is working great, it is so convenient & worry free. I would recommend this approach to anyone, given that Chelsea & I are apprentices when it come to keeping axies, as we have only had them since the middle of October last year. Thanks to all the support that we have had from "The Usual Suspects".... well they know who they are.

The water levels are great, although we are doing a daily 10% water change just to ensure our water stays good, if they weren't in the tank that would be the case anyway having to do daily water changes. Our survival rate is great so far too, only a couple haven't made it.

The diet of live blackworms is obviously working well too.

Claire, the mother is a wild type & father is a yellow albino. We have 1 very interesting one that at the moment seems to be 1/2 & 1/2 whether or not this changes I am not sure, but its head & neck seem to be albino & the back & tail is wild, I will try & get some individual pics of it in the next wekk or so.

They are also starting to develop their front legs, just sticks at the moment.

I am amazed how much they eat, how quickly they are growing, and how quick they dart around.

That would be awesome if you could get close up pics of the half and half one! Cant wait to see them :O) and they eat a crazy amount of food in such a short space of time. Cant wait to see more pics of them growing up.

Claire
