Another update for Angel! I feel she may finally be at her optimum weight, woo! I've noticed this week she really does love her food and has started waiting at the front of the tank if I haven't fed her - Miss Piggy eat your heart out! It's just such a relief after the struggle I had getting her to eat and keep food down at the beginning. Those awful bones have disappeared and her jawline has filled out. The only let down is she fanned her gills when I was taking a picture so no one can see how full and fluffy they're getting! Anyway...

Angel when she came to me, maybe a month ago?: Not good

Angel Approx a week and a half/ 2 weeks ago: Getting there but still a work in progress! :happy:

Angel Today:

Heavens to betsy, look at the meat on that belly! She's also grown about half an inch in the month I've had her. Just glad her road to recovery seems to be over and she can now concentrate on being the happy, healthy, very much loved axolotl she deserves to be!

I was saying to my other half how nice her coloring is last night. My other golden, although lovely, is a very bright orange/gold! Whereas she's quite pale with just a gold shimmer. Very much love her, I must admit :happy:
