Changing colour query

Hello . as some of you know i have had some axolotl eggs from the 2nd of october , well they hatched and were black , they now seem to be going a kind of seethrough colour with little dots on . the adults are black wild type . is this normal?

"Query" lol. And from what I've seen a lot of babies are black but do appear more transparent until they get older and develop their eventual color.

Leucistic axolotls start out dark, and then lighten over time. If the parents are both recessive for leucistic, then 25% of your offspring will be leucistic.
