This is my male albino, Cello. Its hard to get a good photo of him because for some reason he jus cant sit still.

And this is my female golden albino, Priestess. All she seems to want to do is hide in the half a pot I broke into a cave for her.

They are so cute!
I think i will buy a golden too in the future, then my wild one wouldn't be too lonely!

But in Hong Kong, I couldn't find the white one in the market now! Even if they do, it will be very expensive!

Just days after taking these photos this is how Cellos tank now looks. It will be Priestess' also when her leg has recovered.

For a comparison of old and new set outs look at "Just thought I would share" in Axie Gallery.

If anyone is interested in knowing... I stole the rock from the creek near my house [they're actually concreted into the creek ;) ]

LOL. It's nothing flash, but its a rock and it was bloody heavy having to walk home with it so it's staying where it is for now.

nice axies, although Cello seems to be actually a leustic axolotl, not albino. hence the black eyes and freckles.

yeh. I never thought he was albino, I just couldnt remember the correct term, so i went with the albino anyway knowing someone would correct me. Thanks

Dear All, I would appreciate some help identifying P. waltl disease and treatment. We received newts from Europe early November and a few maybe 3/70 had what it looked like lesions under the legs- at that time we thought maybe it was the stress of travel- now we think they probably had "red leg syndrome" (see picture). However a few weeks later other newts started to develop skin lesions (picture enclosed). The sender recommended to use sulfamerazine and we have treated them 2x and we are not sure they are all recovering. Does anyone have any experience with P. waltl diseases and could give some input on this? Any input would be greatly appreciated! Thank you.

sorry I am having a hard time trying to upload the pictures- I have them saved on my hard drive... any suggestions-the prompts here are not allowing for downloads that way as far as I can tell. Thanks
