has anyone gotten CB Taricha to breed? if so, how old are they when they first breed?

I have some that are just over 1.5 years old (eggs laid in April 2003). They have become aquatic over the past few months and are partaking in mating behaviours (amplexus), and the males are displaying all of the appropriate mating attire (sexy). However there have been no eggs laid as of yet. They may simply be getting in their practice, but I do not encourage it because it is inbreeding and it shames me as their mother.

Hi Liz,

it takes about 3- 5 years depending on the species and how you keep them.

I have heard rumors of someone who has lots of newtlings ready to get homes... I would be quite happy(and so would my male TG) if I knew how to get some....
