Well I was actually able to get some decent pictures with my Digi Camera, considering how crappy it is. Foober my Cat insisted on being in the first pictures, he has a box obsession. Anything box shaped he has to investigate. I just got a used 40 gallon tank from my husband’s brother. Have to find a way to get the crappy blue stuff off the back and paint the fake wood stuff with some aquarium safe paint if I can find it at home depot. Grimace who was near impossible to take decent pictures of before decided to pose for me while his shy tank mate hid out in the cave. I had to coax him out with a worm

. Titus is still in her little bucket home until I can get her placed in a smaller tank which she will be housed by her self until she is much bigger and can defend her self. I also got a picture of the small tanks I am housing my baby Axolotls until they are big enough to join my big babies.

They are still so small to photograph properly with my crappy camera >__< but will post pictures as soon as they grow an inch or two

You gave me some great inspiration for decorating my axys' PVC pipes!! Can I just use 100% silicone, or should I use aquarium sealant? Great setup!

Use Aquarium Silicone. www.bigalsonline.com has black Aquarium Silicone. Cynthia suggested to me going there, so I ordred it and it's really nice. Make sure not to use the ABS pipes, they are black. Here in the states they are toxic. I used a large white PVC pipe for mine.

Dear All, I would appreciate some help identifying P. waltl disease and treatment. We received newts from Europe early November and a few maybe 3/70 had what it looked like lesions under the legs- at that time we thought maybe it was the stress of travel- now we think they probably had "red leg syndrome" (see picture). However a few weeks later other newts started to develop skin lesions (picture enclosed). The sender recommended to use sulfamerazine and we have treated them 2x and we are not sure they are all recovering. Does anyone have any experience with P. waltl diseases and could give some input on this? Any input would be greatly appreciated! Thank you.

sorry I am having a hard time trying to upload the pictures- I have them saved on my hard drive... any suggestions-the prompts here are not allowing for downloads that way as far as I can tell. Thanks
