Casper & Monty meet Bilbo

We've had the babys now just over three months and there coming on great.
We were looking for a way to introduce the babys to Bilbo, so I made a devider and it seems to have worked a treat.
Once there a little bigger I'll take it out and with any luck they shouldn't fight.

They are very cute, but mummy has curled gills which means she is stressed. I love the set-up and everything though. Great job

Jay is right, this means there is probably to much current in your tank, what type of filter are you using.

Hi Ryan,

There's a Fluval 3 plus filter in the tank, but the water travels through a spray bar which is deflected off the glass of the tank.
I'm just thinking that because of the partition it may be causing some flow problems. I think I need to make some of the holes a little larger.
Thanks for spotting that guys, the last thing we want is for any of or axie's to be stressed.
What can I say I'm a big softy and love them to bits.

To think I never wanted them, the wife did.... lol

Those drawings are cracking m8, the second my two kids saw then they new it was Bilbo.

I decided last night to remove the partition completely, we spent a good hour keeping an eye on everyone just incase of any problems and I'm happy to say there was'nt a single problem, they are all getting on like one big happy family.

Hi Karrie,
Believe it or not she's watching the telly...lol. The plants have just been left to grow wild, once they get a bit to big then I just do a little pruning, here are some of the plants Camomba Carolinianna, Elodea Densa Thick and Frogbit.
